First of all, can we just talk about how much fun I had playing this game? I mean, I’m already a huge fan of Monopoly, but when you add Stranger Things into the mix, it takes it to a whole new level!
My friend Sarah and I played this game last night and let me tell you, we were hooked from the very beginning. The gameboard takes you beyond Hawkins and into new locations featured in Season 4 of Stranger Things. And let me just say, those cassette tapes and Cerebro and Hellfire club cards really add some excitement to the gameplay. We were on the edge of our seats the whole time!
But the best part of this game for me was Vecna’s Mysterious Grandfather Clock. Whenever someone rolls the clock symbol on the die, Vecna opens a Gate to the Upside Down and things start to get real crazy. We were spinning that clock like crazy trying to avoid danger lurking in our game.
I would highly recommend this Monopoly game for any Stranger Things fan out there. It’s perfect for adults and teens ages 14 and up (like us!) and makes a great gift too. Oh, and did I mention the themed tokens? You can play as Hopper’s police truck or even a Demogorgon! So cool! Trust me, give this game a try and thank me later – or not if you end up losing like Sarah did!
